No day like today
Well,
Today was another day that let me understand more about certain things in life. Most people will not be 100% honest with you. And for the record, that is okay. Do you need to know why exactly someone was late? Think about it. Do you really need to know that they may have had... the runs, or really bad gas. NO!! But if they say that they were not feeling well, we take it a different way. Saying that, 100% honesty is not really necessary, but give me enough to know that I can trust you.
Once you lose trust, it is very, very hard to get back. People always say that they can forget, but who really does? In a relationship, you have to have trust. I say be a firm believer in Christ, then figure out your other problems. So Christ first in a relationship, then trust each other and you are headed in the right direction.
This is a 2-way street. I know of ladies that can lie with a straight face and swear on someone's grave that they are telling the truth. I, as well, know of guys that can do the same. I have been one of those guys for a brief period in my life. Relationships only though. I was not a liar to friends or family.
Mature relationships need mature people. If you are 21 and under, most times your relationships are not really mature, and may be in the process of learning maturity. Dont expect the world of a 19 year old when they can barely take care of themselves.
